As a company and as individuals, the BETAH team believes in giving back to the community. Our team members donate time, energy and professional expertise to a wide range of causes—including health organizations and hospitals, faith-based and educational institutions and services, and other community groups.
The Wilhelmina E. Bell-Taylor Race for Lung Life is an annual noncompetitive family-oriented 5K run/walk held in memory of our founder, Wilhelmina Bell-Taylor, a lung cancer heroine who fought courageously from the moment she was diagnosed in April 2004 until she passed away on April 24, 2008. The inaugural event took place in April 2009 to honor her life, and to encourage others living with or caring for someone with lung cancer. The race is organized by the Community Education Network, a nonprofit organization launched by Wilhelmina Bell-Taylor in 2001.
BETAH provides donations for Baby's Bounty to supply safety, health, and wellness essentials to infants born into poverty, homelessness, abuse, neglect, and other disadvantaged situations in Montgomery County, MD.
