As the first contractor selected to provide comprehensive communications, outreach, and support services for AoA, BETAH provided the full panoply of marketing and promotional efforts, including management of special events, such as press events for AoA leadership and the 2006 Choices for Independence: A National Leadership Summit.
BETAH planned and managed this week-long national summit that attracted more than 1,400 participants in conjunction with 8 concurrent meetings of AoA grantees. BETAH’s experienced conference staff managed nearly every detail of this conference, from site selection to registration, and from comprehensive onsite support to a range of post-meeting services. BETAH was highly praised for its work on this project by the Assistant Secretary for Aging and other AoA leaders. The summit was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.
